WALK IN THE JUNGLE

The jungle that I speak of is our immediate neighborhood during morning rush hour. Lurking in the bowels of every street, alley or parking lot are two-ton monsters of all colors and shapes, ready to pounce on unsuspecting joggers and walkers.

Jane and Tarzan (my wife and I) managed to survive the morning fury by staying on the sidewalks and looking twice before crossing the streets – just like our moms taught us during our toddler years.

We had to endure this morning madness in able to have our one motor-vehicle properly maintained by the friendly folks at Firestone.

As soon as the truck was checked in, we walked to the gym, did 45 minutes of weight machines, walked home, fixed and ate breakfast, and then walked back to Firestone to pick up the vehicle.
3,000 miles from now, look for a similar posting.
