WALKING, LIFTING, TALKING AND BEING GRATEFUL

In between cycling days, I attempt to walk and do weight bearing exercises.  The weight bearing exercises usually take place in the middle of our walk.  Today was no exception!

Not wanting to stress out an already damaged left knee, my wife and I only casually walked to and from the gym, did our normal weight-machine routine while in the gym, and then walked back home.

While walking along the lake, we discussed how blessed we are to be healthy enough to do what we do. Realizing that there are literally millions of people that would do nearly anything to trade their lives with ours, we remain humbly grateful for everything in our lives, including our freedoms.

I hope everyone’s day is as joyful as ours…
