WALKING, LIFTING AND THEN RUNNING

As a test to see how my back would react to running, after the first .46 of a mile of casual walking to the gym earlier this morning, I started running periodically for the remaining 9/10th of a mile to  home. I was pleasantly surprised that I ran just fine. Slow but painless! Maybe there is hope!

I’m signed up to run Mickey’s Jingle Jungle in early November, hadn't planned on participating in the event because of lower back issues, but maybe I can go ahead and carry through with my original plans by running and walking the 5K. It’ll be a game-day decision.
