This was a typical ride when I volunteer to ride alongside, behind and in front of my wife while she does a marathon training run. I’m her mobile water boy.
Restricted as to where we could run and ride at that time of morning, 1 ½ hours before sunlight, we zig zagged around the mall's parking lot until my wife accumulated 10+ miles.
While riding and running in the mall’s huge parking lot, we found a total of 99 cents laying on the ground – most of it underneath a fast food drive-in window.
It was a pleasant morning with the average temperature right around 70F.
