After leaving our happy abode one hour prior to this morning’s sunrise, I rode alongside my remarkable wife while she did one of her “Goofy Challenge” training run/walks. The majority of her run/walk training took place in the shopping mall’s vast parking lot prior the pesky masses filling up the parking spaces.
With a high temp of 78.8F, the weather was perfect for her run as well as my escort ride. When the sun did rise, clouds blocked the sun from shining in our eyes when we were heading east. Perfect!
On the way home from the mall, we felt a very slight misty-type sprinkle coming down from the fast moving grey clouds. The cooling mist felt especially good to my wife. I looked at the cooling mist as a good reason to totally wipe down my road bike after arriving home, which is exactly what I did.
