While my wife did an eight-mile training run, I rode alongside her on my mountain bike handing her the water bottle whenever she would signal that she was thirsty.
In the park as well was a good friend of ours, Rossana. She was repeatedly cycling around the 1.65 mile circle with her speedy boyfriend.
The humidity was exceptionally high this morning. There was zero wind and the temperature was right around 83 F. I didn't necessarily feel the heat and humidity due to my slow speed, but my wife most certainly did. It was suffocating for a runner.
Oh my, the cons of being a runner and the pros of being a cyclist.
